Harnessing Creative Energy with Design Thinking

To effectively implement the Georgia Standards of Excellence in any content area, it is critical that students know how to explore creative outlets and how to hone their ability to think outside the box and generate new ideas.  We need students to be producers of information, not just consumers.  This generative notion requires that students understand the creative process and learn how to tap into their strengths as creators and inventors. 

Use the link below to access information about IDEO U and some of the free resources that can be used to build and foster creative thinking as a habit of mind.  In addition to the free resources, you will also have access to a variety of course options that provide a more in-depth exploration of the design thinking process.
