What We Do:
We are committed to supporting districts to engage in meaningful and sustainable improvement. We partner with schools and districts to enhance student outcomes through continuous reflection, data-informed decision-making, and capacity-building efforts.

Our Support:
In support of NWGA RESA’s commitment to equip, empower and serve educators, we want to support your district to build capacity to effectively engage in continuous improvement. The Continuous Improvement team would welcome the opportunity to discuss your district’s specific continuous improvement needs and how we can support your team to address those needs. All supports can be modified to meet district/school needs.
Instructional Observations (outside of TKES/GaLEADS)
RESA specialists provide an external review of classroom instruction
Side by side classroom observations with school or district staff to build capacity of observers
Training on planning, implementing and monitoring an instructional observation framework
Leadership Teams
RESA specialists provide an external review of school/district leadership team efficacy
Side by side coaching of leaders to effectively lead and manage leadership teams
Training on effective leadership teams
Collaborative Planning
RESA specialists provide an external review of collaborative planning efficacy
Side by side coaching of leaders to effectively lead and facilitate collaborative planning teams
Training on effective collaborative planning teams
Comprehensive Needs Assessments
RESA specialists provide an external review of school or district instructional processes
Training on planning and implementing effective needs assessments
School/District Strategic/Improvement Plans
Training on the creating, implementation and monitoring of effective improvement plans
Review and provide feedback on improvement plans
Support the development of school improvement plans that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART goals)
Provide assistance with regular check-ins and evaluations of improvement plans to assess progress and make adjustments
Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans for school/district improvement, including building capacity for continuous improvement
Support districts in developing strategies to sustain improvements over time
Effective Use of Data
Assist schools/districts in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting student achievement data
Support leaders to use data to identify achievement gaps, track progress, and implement interventions tailored to student needs.
Support schools/districts in developing systems to monitor progress over time, adjusting strategies as needed
Wraparound Supports:
Build the capacity and sustainability of district leaders to deliver wraparound services and supports to students and educators
Help to facilitate the district’s access to community resources
Support districts to more effectively provide student behavior support and prevention
Increase the capacity of districts to effectively implement academic support and prevention systems and processes
Support districts to grow and expand college and career support
