Transition Points are designated as:

  • Level 1 – Application to Gifted Endorsement Program
  • Level 2 – Presentation
  • Level 3 – Unit Plan
  • Level 4 – Portfolio of Instructional and Assessment Activities
  • Level 5 – Gifted Camp Practicum Assessment
  • Level 6 – Exit Examination-Case Study
  • Level 7 – Program Effectiveness Survey

Candidates must meet or exceed expectations on a three-point rubric for designated assignments.

The three levels on each rubric are:

  • Does Not Meet Expectations
  • Meets Expectations and
  • Exceeds Expectations

Candidates must score at Meet Expectations at each transition point in order to advance to the next level.
