Topics discussed in the course include: Cyber Safety risks and misuses, Trends, Devices, Personal information online, Online Victim Profiles, Human Trafficking, Cyberbullying, Legal issues, Technical solutions, and Cybersafety suggestions.

The summer cohort will be 5 sequential face-to-face training sessions. This is different from our usual online format with a face-to-face training session at the end.

Mission: To provide Science and Mathematics educators the opportunity to engage in a regional, professional learning community with a focus on strengthening teacher content knowledge, pedagogical practices, and process skills in order to deliver rigorous content in a authentic, contextual manner and demonstrate an unyielding commitment to increased student outcomes in the STEM areas (Science, Technology  Engineering and Mathematics)
